On a somber not, a woman was arrested after having a car accident in West Virginia – authorities were alerted that she was seen dragging a body out of her truck after hitting a guard rail.

Erica Newsome,37, had been driving for two days with her dead 11-year old daughter, headed to her fathers house in Buffalo, New York. According to reports the woman left Jacksonville, Florida on Friday. Authorities say foul play is suspected in the child’s death and believe it occurred in Florida

The girls father, Donath Plummer reported that Ms Newsome said texted him to make him aware that she was bringing their daughter to Buffalo on Saturday morning. The two married in 2007 and separated two years later. He said he had not seen her sense she and her daughter moved to Florida in 2014. He did speak with his daughter by phone regularly.

He said Ms Newsome was a great mother and does not know what could have happened.
