Assault on Obama's legacy Drives current Administration

Obamacare

Scribe:  N. Tru Bass

The end is nigh.  The White House has announced the end of cost-sharing subsidies that have helped some Americans obtain health insurance on the Affordable Health Care Plan implemented by President Barack Obama.

The subsidies have required a monthly payment approved by the president, which has been granted until now.  The current administration has decided to consider each month’s payment on an individual basis.  The move is expected to dramatically increase costs for some lower income Americans.

This volley is the latest in a long line of the White House attempting to dismantle the gains of his predecessor.  This man’s feeble attempt to destroy Obama’s legacy.

Americans not surprised when Police are Dishonest

Cariann Hithon

This story has taken me two days to write.  Ai attribute it to every time I see an image of this young woman Cariann Hithon, I see someone’s daughter, sister, niece, girlfriend.

It also disturbs me that professional police officers are viewing American citizen as ‘the enemy,’ and that’s disheartening, especially for a group that started out as a terrorist organization for slaves in the south.

With the invent and evolution of the cellular telephone cameras have found their way into the pockets and purses of nearly every American.  Unveiling, terroristic lies told by police officials traditionally. Some of those lies have continued to be told despite video evidence to the contrary.

ESPN's Jemele Hill hired for opinion but Not all the Time

Jemele Hill

Jemele Hill, this is an open letter to you.  While I know that you were hired by ESPN as a sports commentator offering up your opinion and thoughts about sports events and occurrences.  However, when you spoke an obvious truth a couple weeks ago it ruffled some feathers.  Some orange faced feathers, who has no put pressure on ESPN to scold you, since you are on their plantation network.

Last month Ms. Hill called the president a white supremacist, she later apologized for saying it and said that the tweet was an impulsive mistake. She didn’t’ say whey she was calling the president of the united states a white supremacist, but maybe I can help there.

Lap-dog Mike Pence plays his Position

“We would rather eat dirt than to go through the kind of oppression that we have gone through for 400 years,” --Albert Cleage Jr.

This weekend owner of the Dallas Cowboys Jerry Jones exerted slave ownership like control over his team, most of which are Black, by saying, if you don’t stand for the national anthem, you will not play.   While most military people will tell you the sideline protest of sitting during the national anthem is one of the rights we all joined in the military to protect.  However, this is being twisted into physical domination and white power rhetoric.

The White House has suggested the president former employers should apologize for reporting that Rex Tillerson referred to him over the summer as a “moron”.

NBC, the network that carries The Apprentice said an apology will not happen.  The network cited a half dozen witnesses who are said to have heard the Secretary of State’s comments.  The report also said Tillerson considered leaving his post –an assertion that he denies.

Hallie Jackson, the White House Chief correspondent said, “It’s safe to say NBC News will not be issuing an apology to America.”

The petulant president said via social media, “NBC news is #FakeNews and more dishonest than even CNN. They are a disgrace to good reporting. No wonder their news ratings are way down!”

ISIL claims responsibility for Las Vegas Shooting

Stephan Paddock

Scribe:  N. Tru Bass

Email:  ntb@thethinkering.com

Who was Stephan Paddock? One thing we know is that he was a multimillionaire real estate investor who had no real political affiliations apparent.  He lived in a two-bedroom home about 90 minutes from the strip two years ago for nearly $400,000.  He also owned a second home near Reno, Nevada.

His Florida based brother described him as a heavy gambler with no known religious or political affiliation and was not a gun guy.

ISIL is claiming responsibility for Paddocks actions and US authorities are denying the claims.   Some are pointing to racism as a reason for the denial.  Several pounds of ammonium nitrate were found in his car at the Mandalay Hotel along with 23 guns.  At least one was equipped with a bumper stock allowing easy conversion from semi to full automatic.

N. Tru Bass: U.S. Morality clause should stop Violence--Laws Can't

Magnificent Seven

Scribe:  N. Tru Bass

Email:  ntb@thethinkering.com

For hundreds of years’ citizens of the United States have allowed Black people in this country to be terrorized.  It came from institutions like the Concerned Citizens Council and the Ku Klux Klan and local police departments to a hushed citizenry.  Many Americans who would never participate in the activity themselves didn’t lift a finger or say a word to quell the wrongs.

That is wrong.

I remember as a young man I enjoyed westerns, you know the ones shot in technicolor of cowboys, brothel’s and gunfights. During that old fashioned programming, virtues were almost always discussed.   For those of you who are not familiar.  A western is a genre of television and film set in the latter part of the 19th century in the American west.

N. Tru Bass: White House corruption Abounds -- Here is why

White House

Scribe: N. Tru Bass

Email: ntb@thethinkering.com

Does the United States Government represent its citizenry?

Elaine Duke the acting head of Homeland Security said, on Thursday, "I am very satisfied. I know it's a hard storm to recover from but the amount of progress that's been made, and I really would appreciate any support that we get. I know it is really a good news story in terms of our ability to reach people and the limited number of deaths that have taken place in such a devastating hurricane." This statement came on the heels of Puerto Rico, the U.S. state suffered for weeks without food, water and electricity. Braving flash floods and the notorious heat associated with post hurricane voids. I ask you does this sound like a person with empathy for the unrequited victims?
