Hamden High School

Hamden High School resumed order and classes by 8AM after a hullabaloo in which reports of an unauthorized man in the building was released.  Allegedly the man broke into the school and ran as faculty approached.  The first-year Principal Nadine Gannon then locked down the school and diverted the students to Hamden Middle as a safety measure.  The school was searched and shortly reopened.

As it turns out the intruder was a student at the High School running down the hallway making faux basketball moves.  The reporting teacher even claims the student made a fist as he approached.  Police have reported the lockdown lasted just under an hour.

The incident can be chalked up to a student’s horseplay in the hallway.

Police attacks on Sunday have fallen into the spotlight after hundreds of citizens shot by police departments.  Many departments decided to wage war against the citizenry instead of changing policy that would allow for more even handed policing.

On Sunday in in San Antonio allegedly ambushed an officer according to officials and is still at large and 900 miles away in St. Louis police officials reported a separate officer ambush wounding an on duty policeman.  Four such incidents happened on Sunday all seemingly targeted attacks and all involved officers while in their patrol cars.

I don’t believe these attacks are happening in a vacuum, it was Benjamin Spock who said years ago, “Most middle-class whites have no idea what it feels like to be subjected to police who are routinely suspicious, rude, belligerent, and brutal.”

With protest, mostly peaceful with women and men alike, Blacks, whites, Latino, Asian and every imaginable combination have banned together in an unanticipated civil repulse.

Trump supporters are being accused of buying into a white nationalist agenda.   This group is either active participants, passive participants or sympathizers of what the sentiment in which this country was born: white supremacy.

If you are new to this country or just a few generations in this might not make sense to you, because you have been told white is good and everything else is bad.  But to that, I say, check the source.

When you think of presidential protests you think of Armenian presidential election protests in 2008 and Iranian presidential election protests in 2009 but no one ever saw the current protests in the United States rejecting the newly elected Donald Trump.

“Not my president,” “Trump is Racists,” are just a couple of slogans prominent at protests 5000 people in Seattle, an estimated 10,000 citizens in New York, Chicago, and even more in Los Angeles and other major cities across the country.   In New York in front of Trump Tower protesters shouted, “hey, hey, ho, ho Donald Trump has got to go.” Not only was there a gathering in front of Trump Tower but also near Trump International Hotel & Tower at Columbus Circle, resulting in 65 arrests, and nearly 200 nationwide.

Donald Trump President Elect of the United States

Donald Trump

President of the United States is Donald Trumps.  Every news station plastered the results of the presidential election with republican won states in red and the democratically won states in medium blue.

Trump said in a post campaign speech, “She fought very hard. Hillary has worked very long and very hard over a long period of time, and we owe her a major debt and gratitude for her service to our country.”

Last month Russian President referred to the United States as a “banana republic,” the election of the man considered ‘grown up chucky’ underscores his sentiment.

African American’s complained of not having a legitimate and reasonable choice on the liberal side of the ticket, a truth many believe should have been acknowledged by the democratic machine.   Again Donald J. Trump is the president elect of the United States.
