Why Not Yates?

Former acting Attorney General Sally Yates held the responsibility to run the Justice Department for a short time in the first days of the Trump administration.  She and other former intelligence officials had been asked to testify before the House Intelligence Committee this week – the hearing was cancelled by the panel’s chair Representative Devin Nunes.

Yates served as the deputy attorney general in the last years of the Obama administration and was fired after she ordered the Justice Department lawyers not to defend his first immigration order.  An order that temporarily banned entry to the United States for citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries and refugees from elsewhere.  She gave the order based on the constitutionality of the issue.

The lying White House

White House Liars Corp

Is the White House credible, In Trump’s first day in office he and his staff kicked off his tenure as President of the United States by lying about the size of the inaugural crowd size.  He went into the electoral season with an ethically questionable business past, and boy as a politician he is not disappointing.

He followed up that lie with saying former president Barack Obama wiretapped his home in New York City, after a brief federal investigation, the claims were refuted.  He then added the wiretaps were carried out by British intelligence, along time American ally – that was stomped out by their head of state and intelligence agencies.
