Movies are made of stories of the protagonist fighting an uphill battle. He gets defeated and realizes there is more to know, and along his journey he meets a wise man who offers advice that would provide the single additional element that would put us in Victory Lane.

The country that birthed Muhammad Ali, a man who against all odds took on the entire United States Government, a government that took everything from this man who was never made whole again. Yet, he persevered and in most parts of the world become an icon of strength and courage and silenced his naysayers.

He said, “We don’t know who this person is,”he continued, “That’s the reality. We know we have three people murdered in a half mile of each other in 10 days. They were all walking alone. Probably minding their own business. Lord knows whoever is doing this.”

Driverless Bus Crashes

LV Driverless Bus Crash

We have all recently seen diverless vehicles including a popular commercial featuring basketball future Hall of Famer LeBron James in the backseat of a driverless sedan.

In the city of Las Vegas on Wednesday a driverless shuttle bus crashed less than two hours after it was launched. The city made a bit to -do about the bus and described it as the first self driving shuttle pilot project in the U.S.

Two hours later it crashed into a semi-truck.

However, local reports suggest the issue was not with the driverless technology, but with th human in the second vehicle. This little snafu follows the congress passing the Self Drive Act in September fast tracking more than 100,000 test vehicles per year.

Even with the green light States still hold the power to to decide whether or not to permit self-driving cars.

The United States of America, is the last United Nations member state to refuse to commit to the upcoming Paris climate accord.

Before Trump took office the United States ratified the Paris Agreement aimed at limiting global warming to under degrees Celsius.

Syria was the penultimate country to sign the agreement. The war ravaged nation state agreed to signing the accord on Tuesday, leaving the U.S. out in the cold.

The current administration began the formal process to withdraw from the Paris climate accord in early August, but left the door open saying it would re-engage if terms are more favorable to the U.S.

A Mississippi man left his five-year-old son in the woods overnight last Wednesday, luckily the boy wondered out of the woods the following morning.

Richard Dearman is a Wayne County resident who drove deep into the woods.  He led his son further into the woods walking and told the boy to stand by a tree until he returned.  The next morning the boy heard a dog barking from a nearby house and followed the sound.  The homeowner helped the abandoned child and called authorities.

The 5-year-old walked nearly a mile to find help after being in the woods nearly 24-hours.  Authorities say the boy had a few minor scratches but was in overall good condition.

The President of the United States was motivated by the fourth estate to finally send a $25,000 check that was promised to a family of a fallen soldier.

Jessie Baldridge and family was pleased to receive the monies and promised to used then to honor Dillions legacy.  Corporal Dillion C. B Aldridge was killed in Afghanistan in June and the family received a condolence call from the White House and was promised the financial gift.

The Baldridge’s said weeks passed and they never received the check, but they never gave up hope and didn’t raise the issue.  Jessie says, "We got a condolence letter from him (a few weeks later) and there was no check, and we kind of joked about it. We didn't take to social media and didn't complain."
