Philando Castile Killer gets Predicted Verdict

06 July 2016, Philando Castile was shot to death after a routine traffic stop in Minnesota.  Last week the police officer who fatally shot him was acquitted of all charges, but video recently released tells a story of a different kind. 

The New York Times asked a number of professionals what they thought about the video and here is what they had to say:

Affluenza mother could face 10-years in Prison

You probably remember Ethan Couch, the then 16-year-old who got drunk and killed four people and in his defense lawyers said that he suffered from “affluenza,” and did not know right from wrong because his family’s wealth spoiled him. 

His mother Tonya Couch,50, was arrested later for hindering apprehension and money laundering for helping her son violate a probation deal that kept him out of jail.   

Texas prosecutors are asking the court to revoke the bond for the Tonya due to her violating her bail terms.  A motion was filed in state court in Tarrant County saying she violated her bond by consuming alcohol. 

Ethan Couch is serving a two-year jail sentence as part of his new probation condition, his original case was in juvenile court. 

If convicted, Tonya couch could face up to 10 years in prison.

Pregnant Woman shot down By Seattle Police Department

A 30-year-old mother of four has been shot and killed by the Seattle Police Department on Sunday morning in front of several children after officers say there were threatened by a knife.   According to reports police responded to a possible burglary in progress which prompting the killing.    Witnesses have said her race is the primary factor in her shooting death.   Charleena Lyle’s is a black woman. 

Lyle’s suffered from mental health issues and was arrested on 5 June in an unrelated incident.  She was released and ordered to get mental health treatment according to officials, but the Thinkering News has not yet verified their claims.

The USDA announced that Conagra Brands, inc. in recalling more than 700,000 pounds of spaghetti and meatballs products, including Libby’s and Chef Boyardee brands.   The products contained milk a common allergen that is not listed on the label.

The Powerball jackpot has again grown to more than $400 million for Saturday night’s drawing.  The cash option comes to a whopping $273.1 million, the last time there was a major game winner was 1 April bring the jackpot to an estimated $435 million the highest since 22 February when the pot was $435.3 million with the lucky winner purchasing the ticket somewhere in Indiana.

City Judge who once presided over DUI cases arrested for DUI and Non-Comply

"You are self-sabotaging any chance you have to return to the bench," Aronson said in court, telling Astacio that her attitude appeared to be contemptuous.”  The previous quote was from one judge to another in Rochester, New York. 

Judge Leticia Astacio in 2009 worked as a prosecutor in the Driving While Intoxicated Bureau of the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office.  She was elected in 2014 to a 10-year term running as a democrat for a judgeship in city court. 

She was recently escorted out of court after her supervising judge deceived her into returning to the country where she was swiftly arrested.  She was on hiatus after traveling to Thailand living in the mountains along with the monks searching for life’s ladder.

A top American diplomat in China has resigned his post due to his disapproval of White house decisions.  Charge d’affaires officer David Rank announced his decision after the U.S. pull out of the landmark climate change treaty.

In a recent speech to embassy staff, he said his resignation was due to being asked to do something in support of a policy this past weekend that as a “Parent, Patriot and Christian” he simply could not do in good conscience.

Letourneau separate after 12 years of Marriage and 7 Years in prison

Mary Kay Letourneau and her victim/student/husband filed for separation from his former 6 grade teacher.  The former teacher served more than 7 years in prison for having sex with her student, who she married later has to ask herself whether the prison sentence was worth it. 

To two have two children and Vili Faulaau filed for legal separation earlier this month, the two were married in 2005 and have made several attempts to capitalize on their relationship. The movies, “All American Girl and “That’s My Boy, were both based on the lives of the teacher who was 22-years older than her victim. 

At the time of her molestation she was 34-years-old and married with four children. 

The couple have been featured hosting a night club with Faulaau being the DJ “Hot for Teacher” night.
