Dumb Ass White House Speaks

DumbAss White House

In another juvenile statement, the sitting president attacked a major American city.   This time it is Baltimore the bullseye of this state leader who has the dullness to disrespect a city he represents.

Elijah Cummings was the latest lawmaker attacked by the White House.  Unlike the four ladies who are lawmakers, I feel Cummings can handle himself and should.  But, this time he has piss off an entire city, likely an entire region.

Superman political fundraiser and Trump Nemesis Tom Steyer has tossed his hat in the ring for the 2020 presidential election, seeking the Democratic nomination.

In January, he made clear that he would not make a go of it for the high office.  However, in a video on Tuesday, he said that he would “let the chips fall where they may.”  He has considered running before without actually going for it.  Steyer has spent millions promoting the impeachment of Donald Trump.  His net worth is creeping up on two billion dollars according to Forbes Magazine.

He has aggressively appealed to the impotent congress to impeach the sitting president, in a series of 30 ads in which he is featured directly calling out to the Congress.

She will not be bullied by anyone!

Sen. Kamala Harris decided to forgo the usual exploratory part of a campaign and decided to get right in it. She announced a run for president of the United States, and yes she has a reputation for being tough.

Fresh off a book tour Harris is on the TV circuit Monday morning making the announcement of her bid for the top office. Justice. Decency. Equality. Freedom. Democracy are words that have become her calling cry. The Oakland native is the first African American woman to make the announcement for the coveted position.

Both Kristen Gillibrand of New York and Elizabeth Warren have launched exploratory committees for the 2020 run.

Mitt Romney published a scathing article on New Year’s Day that says, “Trump has not risen to the mantle of presidency.”  Nothing new about this sentiment for the average American, but from a traditional top shelf leader of the Republican Party makes it different by not unprecedented.

Its common knowledge that Trump was not the newly elected Republican Senator from Utah’s pick for the highest office in the land.  Romney is setting the stage and will be sworn into the US Senate on Thursday.

He expanded on his idea of what the office of president should be by saying, “To a great degree, a presidency shapes the public character of the nation.”

Later in the piece he said Trump has “caused dismay around the world.”

Is the state of Florida changing colors?  The story from Tuesday’s primaries comes from the southern state where Bernie Sanders endorsed Democrat Andrew Gillum won his party’s nomination for governor.

Some media pundits believe this is part of the new anti-Trump wave, but most politicians are not mentioning the sitting president’s name.   The surprise victory of the Democratic nomination for governor of Florida set up a race between proletarians vs. privileged whites.

The race represents the potential for the first black governor of the state of Florida.

Texas officer has received a guilty verdict for killing unarmed black teen leaving a house party last year, Jordan Edwards.  15-year-old Edwards, was traveling with three other teens when Roy Oliver of the Balch Springs Police Department fired into the moving car striking Edwards who was sitting in the front passenger seat.

The disgraced officer said that he opened fire after seeing the vehicle move toward his partner.  He claims he thought his partner was in danger—his partner flat denied feeling any fear from the vehicle, he said he never felt the need to pull his weapon.

According to reports prosecutors said Oliver was out of control and looking for a reason to kill and the shooting was unreasonable.  Due to the unbalanced number of unarmed black shootings this shooting launched the small time into a race discussion.
