Superman political fundraiser and Trump Nemesis Tom Steyer has tossed his hat in the ring for the 2020 presidential election, seeking the Democratic nomination.

In January, he made clear that he would not make a go of it for the high office.  However, in a video on Tuesday, he said that he would “let the chips fall where they may.”  He has considered running before without actually going for it.  Steyer has spent millions promoting the impeachment of Donald Trump.  His net worth is creeping up on two billion dollars according to Forbes Magazine.

He has aggressively appealed to the impotent congress to impeach the sitting president, in a series of 30 ads in which he is featured directly calling out to the Congress.

The Democratic primary is standing room only as they recently hosted the first primary debate.  Former vice president Joe Biden, is leading by 22%, despite his participation in the three strikes laws that insured the arrest and long term imprisonment of millions of African American men and women just two decades ago.

Steyer has pledged to spend $100 million on his bid, according to the New York Times.
