A Southwest Airline Flight 1380 from New York had 143 passengers aboard and five crew had to make an emergency landing in Philadelphia after the aircraft blew and engine and suffered a broken and collapsed window.

The Dallas bound flight ended with passengers being met by emergency vehicles that covered the surrounding tarmac with safety foam.

Passengers have reported, what felt like a 100 feet drop in the midst of the flight. Screaming and fear encased the travelers and crew. The pilot was said to have struggled for control while passengers were told to brace for impact. Control was recovered and the plane was landed safely and passengers were being brought into the terminal .
