Former President of ESPN recently admitted to: 1. Having a substance abuse problem, and 2. Resigning from his position at the famed Disney outlet due to an extortion attempt.

December 2017, John Skipper opened up with a media outlet, he explained, he purchased cocaine from someone who later attempt to make a money deal to keep quite. “They threatened me, and I understood immediately that threat put me and my family at risk, and this exposure would put my professional life at risk as well. I foreclosed that possibility by disclosing the details to my family...”

While he says his drug use never caused any professional repercussions, he has entered himself in a drug rehab program, he says that he takes full responsibility for his actions and their consequences.
