Moving full speed to the future, the city of Washington D.C. and Elon Musk’s boring company have inked an agreement providing the go-ahead for the 800 mph underground tunnel that will transport both cars and trams.

The new transportation hub will allow for commuters to live in Manhattan and work in Philadelphia. The system is called a hyperloop. It will cover New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore and DC. The average trip from DC to NYC would be 29 minutes at a cost of one-tenth the price. All involved admit the project is still in its early days. Musk has secured a nod from the White House and the State of Maryland. The first stretch would be completed between Baltimore and the nation’s capitol.

Welcome to the new.
