American flu complications has claimed yet another life. On Sunday a mother of two died after she decided the medicine the doctor prescribed was too pricey to purchase and it proved to be a fatal decision.

Heather Holland a second grade teacher at Ikard elementary school in middle Texas was sick about a a week and went to the doctor where she learned the copay would be $116.

When her husband found out she decided to forgo the medicine due to cost he went to the pharmacy and purchased the medicine, but by that time her condition had worsened.

On Sunday the mother of a 7-year-old and a 10-year-old died due to the flu. Her husband Frank Holland said, "We've been together a long time, over half my life. She's my best friend, my soulmate, my everything." He continued, "I have to be strong for the kids but it’s still surreal, it hasn’t all set in."

Her pastor said that she was just trying to do what is best for her family. Since the election of Donald Trump middle class and working class families have been hurt the most.
