Amanda Staveley offered a whopping £250m or $347,367,500 to buy the Newcastle United soccer club. Rumors that the offer had been rejected has been refuted by Staveley’s spokesperson.

Her PCP Capital Partners confirmed on Thursday their offer had not been rescinded and they still believe a deal can be made with Mike Ashley to take ownership. On Tuesday it was believed the deal was off the table after a source close to Ashley said, "It is only right to let the fans know there is no deal on the table or even under discussion with Amanda Staveley and PCP."

The source stated the the talks had become, "exhaustive, frustrating and a complete waste of time." Staveley’s groups says how can it be a waste of time when nothing has been done in five weeks. Ashley put the team up for sale last year. British based financier Jamie Reuben stated in December that he wanted in any deal that could be made with Staveley and PCP Capital.

The Magpies were founded in late 1892, its home-field is St. James Park and is Managed by Rafael Benitez and is a part of the Premier League.
