Immigrants from around the world has enjoyed a liberal imigration policy in the united states since 1965. The privledge was mostly a european one until modern times.

All but one group of immigrants to the United States of America made it to these shores for a better life ushered in by this text, "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore, Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

At the top of the year 2018, America is still lying about the contributions of Africans and the theft of land and goods from the ideginous people. Prior to 52 years ago, if you were a hoping imigrant but not from Europe, it was likely that you would never darken the threshold of the door of entry to the United States. Despite, the many benefits imigrants recieved from people of color and native Americans, few take the time to thank those who made this country a palitible living environment.

While few natives and few Blacks take the time to point out the lack of appreciation, the disrespect goes unnoticed by none. The gentle silence, doesn't denote an air of ignorance but respectful calm that has made itself part of the gentleness of of honorable people.

Indiginous people were killed off by the millions, due to residue of filth born on the European continent. Chicken Pox, Influenza, Malaria, Yellow fever, Smallpox and Measles were just a few, that allowed European ignorance about hygiene to allow a biological take over. Despite the silence, ignorance is not the reason for Blacks and others not making the point.

Most Americans recognize Thanksgiving had little to do with turkeys and good will. Infact, in a letter to the Spanish throne Columbus mentioned the cordoility he and his comrads were treated with while asking for guns and ammo to force the natives of Hispanoila to mine for gold.

The truth is not pointed out, due to an attmept to extend kindness to their fellowman. A kindness that has never been recipricated by the European counterpart.

This is the same simply minded duplicity that we are seeing today.

New immagrants from around the world do yourself a favor. Learn more about the contributions of each group and the motivations of their actions. For all intents and purposes, I believe the aboriginal people and the African slaves made more unsung contritubions than any other group. Even to this day, black and brown families can claim to have been Americans for many more generations than most others, lets respect the fact. I don't intend to undermine the contibutions of any other groups, in fact every contribution made in this country serves the citizen of today.

It is and has always been the diversity in the United Stats of America that makes this a special place.
