If you love lobster, you had better hurry.  Two local women have changed the flavor’s offered in the area by opening a food truck that specializes in lobster.

The Lobster Hut food truck is owned by Jasmine Sampson and Tatiana Dukes, the two friends consider themselves foodies and found a niche in the Hamden, by providing fresh lobster rolls and more.   In a recent interview Sampson said, “We’re doing the lobster truck because we love to eat and we’re foodies.”

Sampson and Dukes were motivated when they saw the owner of the Milford Lobster Hut make a post via social media.  The women knew of the Milford truck and enjoyed the food, taking the pressure out of the decision to get started.

Hamden Lobster Hut food truck is located at 1253 Whitney Ave, and is open from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, as long as the weather holds.  If not you can expect them to reopen towards the end of March.

So hurry, and get this fast-favorite.
