Former actor, Heisman Trophy winner, acquitted murder and American Black man, O.J. Simpson was release from prison on Sunday after serving nine years in a Navada Jail.  Some say Simpson was set up by American law enforcement officer in retaliation for being acquitted by a Los Angeles jury in the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Simpson and her friend, Ron Goldman in 1995.

The 70-year-old was released from Lovelock Correctional Center facing probation restrictions for the next five years.

Reports have suggested Simpson wanted to serve out his probation in Florida where he has a home.  Florida’s attorney general and a Fox News correspondent, has already pledge allegiance to wrong doing by stating about Simpson, "[The State] should not become a country club for this convicted criminal".

The former running back was sentenced to a maximum 33 years in 2008, after being informed men possessed stolen items form his estate, he then attempted to recover the items and was arrested, which leads to the speculations of a set up.

Despite a criminal court saying Simpson was not responsible for the infamous double-murder.  A civil court jury held Simpson liable for the deaths of Brown-Simpson and Goldman, awarding their families $33.5m.

Simpson retired from the NFL in 1979, he then wowed the world with a popular Hertz commercial where he is seen running through airports, he also acted in several popular movies including the 1988 blockbuster The Naked Gun.
