King Abdullah

King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia held oil prices at bay during this life by not imposing a pumping ceiling on oil.  He continued to pump despite his western counterparts insisting that he slow his oil ingestion to insure a price hike for gasoline buyers in the United States and worldwide.

In early 2015, King Abdullah died and the kingdom continued to support his efforts during his life to the dismay of western oil companies.  However, a natural disaster, hurricane Harvey, the excuse to raise prices finally arrives, a full two years eight months later.

Yes, American’s the prices at the pump have been held down by a middle eastern kingdom’s insistence on pumping oil in the face of greedy oil companies who are now having their way.  In the media, it was presented as a way to stabilize oil prices, but, the truth is it would have allowed maximum income potential, just opposite of what is good for American Citizens.

The rise in gasoline prices come as oil producers in the Gulf have ceased production due to Hurricane Harvey allowing western oil companies to get the exuberant prices they hoped for upon the death of the then 90-year-old head of state.   We should all applaud the efforts of the late king of Saudi Arabia for allowing us to use the money we would have spent on gas on our familial needs.   I want to pay homage to a man who single handedly made a moral decision to keep prices high but not hurting.

When are we going to wise up and get these corporate leeches off our backs.

Post mortem we can thank his successor, and half-brother, King Fahd for the continued instance on maintaining lower prices at the pump.  So just know, your American oil companies are now having their way.  Are you pleased with their behavior?  In spite of it being against American’s best interest media organizations have not illuminated this issue for what it is – a fleecing of the American people.  Shame on them.
