Knife Wielding man Robs Clothing Store

A local business was robbed last weekend as a man with a knife and face covered entered the establishment demanding money. 

Plato’s Closet is a used clothing store robbed on Saturday in the 2300 block of Dixwell Avenue.  The man was described as a white male, tattoos on his left arm, thin build and 5ft, 8 inches tall.   The man left the store and reportedly got into a dark red or “burgundy” Buick.    The company also purchases used clothing for cash payment.   According to their website they are the #1 ranked teen resale franchise according to Entrepreneur Magazine.

Police are asking for your help.  Anyone that can proved information about this robbery are asked to contact the Detective Division of the Hamden Police Department, 203.230.4040.
