Rabbi Greer

Rabbi Daniel Greer has been accused on sexually assaulting Eliyahu Mirlis 13-years-ago. He was arrested on Wednesday after being ordered to pay his victim twenty million dollars after a civil trial that says he is responsible.

The 77-year-old was released on a $100,000 bond, after being charged with second degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor. The incident(s) happened when Mirlis was a student in his yeshiva at the time of occurrence. His attorney is seeking to initiate the collections process on the $20 million May verdict and has obtained liens on the Yeshiva's Elm Street building, property it owns in Bethany and Greer’s personal residence in the Edgewood neighborhood.

Greer has previously crusaded against gay rights in New Haven and the state he as advocated against prostitution near and around Whalley Avenue. He filed a suite against Yale University in 2007 over coed dorms citing ethical concerns.

Damn! The hypocrisy.
