Hamden, Conn.(The Thinkering News) -- A Severe Thunder Storm Watch has been announced just before noon by the National Weather Service for this area.  While showers are not likely, it will remain mostly cloudy with a steady temperature of about 77 degrees.

Expect the bottom to fall out overnight as severe storms are expected.  Up to one inch of rain is anticipated and showers associated with thunderstorms are expected to begin around 3-4 am just ahead of a slow moving cold front.   Today’s high is 78 degrees with a low tonight of 69.

On Tuesday, expect a high temperature of 84 degrees, on a pleasant but warm day.
