I now know what the sitting president of the United States meant when he said, “Making America great again.”  Denver Post sports writer Terry Frei, spoke in that vein when he said in a tweet, 'Nothing specifically personal, but I am very uncomfortable with a Japanese driver winning the Indianapolis 500 during Memorial Day weekend.

Speaking of Indy driver Takuma Sato’s memorial day win.

He later retracted the tweet but a bit too late as executives Mac Tully and Lee Ann Colacioppo pulled the plug on his employment.   The two apologized for the disrespect and unacceptable tweet that was sent by one of their employees and offered the comfort of knowing he no longer works at the Post to readers.

Frei later released a statement saying he “fouled up” continuing, “should have known better.”

The good ole U. S. of A, the more things change the more they stay the same. Congratulations Sato, maybe in a year or so well all have #26 on our snapbacks.
