Man Arrested after Robbing Two Convenience Stores

A convenience store robber has been apprehended for two recent robberies in Wallingford and North Haven. 

Bradford John, 32, of Bristol was charged on Tuesday with robbing the North Colony Road store in Wallingford on Saturday morning just after 8:00 a.m. when he implied he had a handgun and demanded money from the clerk, he lifted a few hundred dollars from the store. 

John drove a Kia Rio to complete his robberies, the next stop was on Sunday a similar robbery was reported in North Haven who was driving a similar vehicle.  John was arrested in East Haven with help from the East Haven Police. 

He is being held on a $50,000 bail and is slated to be in a Meriden Court on Wednesday morning.
