New Haven Robbery

Two men, two teens and an underage girl has been arrested after burglarizing a New Haven business on Tuesday. 

Libby’s Motorworld was broken into with the criminals setting off a burglar alarm alerting police to the Printers Lane location.  Officers arrived and witnessed two men running and gave chase, by dawn five people were in custody. 

Isiah Caves, 19, of Hamden, Davaul Nasir Amin, 19, or New Haven, Anthony E. Marrero, 20, of New Haven and Jordan Johnson, 21, of New Haven were apprehended by police on the scene.  Upon inspection officers realized the team of robbers damaged the building but never got inside the business. 

The suspects are charged with Interfering with police and third-degree criminal mischief, Third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary and third-degree criminal trespass.  The disposition of the suspects is not yet known.
