Clinically dead frozen man comes back to life thanks the CPR and fast thinking emergency workers.   The phenomena are offering hope for other near death occurrences.

The 25-year-old had been lying in the cold for nearly 12 hours.  His core temperature dipped to near 60 degrees with an outside temperature of 5 degrees below zero and snowing.  The man who suffered from hypothermia was revived and brought back to life.

His father found him nearly a year ago today with just the tip of his boots visible from a snow drift alongside an empty road on a winter day in Pennsylvania.

According to reports when emergency personnel arrived, they couldn’t find signs of life, they covered Justin Smith with a white sheet.  He was taken to the emergency department at Lehigh Valley Hospital on 21 February 2015.

Here is Justin’s story as told by those there.
