A successful Georgia lawyer is accused of peddling oxycodone and methamphetamines. 

Holly Hogue Edwards, a Georgia criminal defense lawyer arrested on Monday by police, is remanded to the U.S. District Court on charges that include illicit distribution of drugs, namely the prescription medication Oxycodone and methamphetamine

Edwards was apprehended in Houston County Georgia, on Interstate 75, and served an arrest warrant.  She was indicted after she sold drugs to undercover agents who received a heads up by a local snitch. 

The embattled lawyer was appointed a public defender by Magistrate Charles Weigle.  In court she pleaded not guilty to all charges and released on Monday on a $15000.00 bond. 

She also part-times as a TV law contributor and opened her Macon law office in 2009.
