Actor/rapper Ice-T’s grandson Elyjah Marrow has been indicted in the death of his former roommate last year in an accidental shooting that left Daryus Johnson,19, dead.

He will now be charged and prosecuted by the Cobb County, Georgia district attorney’s office on five charges relating to the June 2014 incident.  Marrow was in possession of a stolen handgun and said it accidentally went off striking Johnson in the head.

Marrow has made bail and awaits trial on charges of involuntary manslaughter, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana more than an ounce, theft by receiving stolen property and possession of firearm during commission of a felony reckless conduct.  It appears the DA is stacking the deck against the 20-year-old petty drug dealer.

57-year-old Ice-T, who has a recurring role on the hit TV series Law and Order, whose government name is Tracy Marrow became nationally known as a platinum selling gangster rapper in the 1980’s.
