Ok, its official Serena is a monster!  The World’s number one tennis player Serena Williams won her 20th Grand Slam victory at the French open on Saturday morning.

Her win against the world’s thirteenth seed player, Lucia Safarova, a left handed Czech player, who had determination in her eyes is significant.   The win didn’t come easy as Williams battled the right up to the opening serve with the flu.  Williams was on fire at the opening; scoring the first sets 6-3, 4-1 and serving strong before falling off and allowing Safarova to make a match of it.

Two Hours and a minute into the competition it was over with Williams raising both hands having defeated the ill effects of Influenza and the grit of Safarova.  This match was nothing short of a Michael Jordan Flu game type effort.  You remember the game where Jordan played sick and heroically handed an L to Karl Malone and the Utah Jazz, back in 1997.

Williams will go down in history as one of the greatest to ever play the game.
