Syrian’s president Bashar Assad is gaining strength as the U.S. continues infighting.  American maundering is continuously asking for Assad’s ouster is becoming unrealistic.

Opposition groups some sponsored by the west say Assad has a stronger grasp on power now than he did just months ago.  It is becoming less likely a step down will happen with a weakening U.S. and China and Russia’s influence becoming more prevalent.

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry says Assad’s recent gains do not assure his future in a new government, onlookers believe these are groundless words.
