Spike Lee Reaches out to Crowd Funding For New Movie

Movie making innovator and entrepreneur Spike Lee has reached out to new funding methods for his next project.
Acknowledging the success of “Wish I Was Here” and other movies as inspirations, Lee took to the crowd funding site Kickstarter to ask for $1.25 million to make his new movie, Joining a crew of filmmakers.
He recently said, “It’s a very different climate now,” he continues, “The only way to ensure as an independent filmmaker that your vision gets on screen is when you bring your money to the table.”
