Drug activity was suspected at a south side Houston home on Friday morning with law officers busting into a Houston home and shots being fired.

No one was hurt and officers are not sure who fired shots.  Texas Department of Public Safety officers say a Homeland Security task force was trying to execute a search warrant, believing someone was dealing drugs out of that address.

A 40-year-old man was arrested trying to escape the house from the rear after canisters of gas was thrown into the house by authorities.  According to reports the Texas Rangers are investigating the shooting.

The suspect that attempted to escape was on parole for robbery and says he had cocaine and marijuana when he was arrested.
