New gun legislation has many people up in arms with concern over the next step by the White House, but one Tennessee man has taken it a step further.

James Yeager CEO of Tactical Response went over the edge on a youtube.com video after hearing reports that the president would take executive action with minor gun control measures.  The legislation over guns is in response to the mass shooting of 21 people in Connecticut last month.

Yeager says, “Fu*k that”, “I’m telling you that if that happens, it’s going to spark a civil war, and I’ll be glad to fire the first shot.  I’m not putting up with it. “

VP Joe Biden is asking the president to bypass Congress and use executive privilege, to impose stricter gun laws.

Yeager continues, “I’m not fu*king putting up with this.  I’m not letting my country be ruled by a dictator.  I’m not letting anybody take my guns!  If it goes one inch further, I’m going to start killing people.”

Yeager is not the lone ranger in this sentiment, on Wednesday Matt Drudge of the Drudge report likened President Obama to Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin when discussing the idea that the White House could act without Congress.

My concern is, if everyone thats frustrated with U.S. political action goes to the open internet and make threats without concern for legal redress where does that leave us.  Students are being arrested everyday in the U.S. for terroristic threats, and this man with access to weapons has not been.  Should this man have a psychological evaluation? Or should we wait to see what happens next?

If this action goes unpunished, it creates a slippery slope going forward.
After the massacre in Newtown, Conn. last month, President Obama instituted a task force lead by Biden to come up with policy proposals to deal with gun violence.
The vice president has said he will complete his report on recommendations for gun control by next Tuesday - and has indicated he will recommend universal background checks and curbs on high-capacity magazines.

With many arrest of childeren in the U.S. its almost unfair to them for this guy to get away with such a statement.

I think something should be done, which brings in the question of freedom of speech.  I guess the days of saying what you want are gone.

Has this guy been arrested!  This JackA** should have been arrested before he finished his stupid statement.

Although I do not agree with everthing this guy said, or how he said it,  I believe in freedom of speech and this guy has a right to say what he said.  To me he seems more frustrated then dangerous.  I am not sure if Mr. Yeager has studied the history of gun control laws in other countries, but I have.  Dictatorships happen when citizens are unable to defend themselves. They are unable to defend themselves because over time, laws are enacted that take away their right to defend themselves.  Even if you did manage to take away everyone's guns, the people that want to kill will always find a way.
